Privacy policy
What we collect
When you request a part we collect:
- your name and email address;
- your country and, if you give it, your ZIP or postcode;
- the part details, measurements and any photos you upload;
- your answers about format, price and deposit.
For abuse prevention we keep a one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself. We remove location and camera data (EXIF) from photos before we keep them.
A new request waits with our hosting provider only until our own system collects it, usually within minutes; the copy there is then deleted. A request you do not confirm waits at most 7 days.
We use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit and how they find us. It sets cookies (named _ga) and sends
Google your page views, an approximate location, and your browser and device type. Google processes this data under its
privacy policy. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland it sets no
cookies and sends only anonymous counts. You can block it with any content blocker or Google's
opt-out add-on; the site works the same without it.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also counts page views with its Web Analytics, which sets no cookies.
Why we use it
- To confirm your request and contact you about that part.
- To decide which parts to document and reproduce, using totals that never identify you.
- If you opted in, to send occasional updates about new parts. You can opt out at any time.
We rely on your consent, which you give on the request form and can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. Service providers process it for us: our hosting provider, Google Analytics (browsing data only, never your request details), our email delivery provider and, if we make your part, a fabrication partner, who receives only the shipping details needed to send it. Some providers may process data outside your country, under appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Requests that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days.
- Photos are deleted 24 months after the last activity on your request.
- Other request details are kept while the part is being considered, and deleted on request.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing parts@porkforge.com. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may have further rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date below.
